  • The next morning the lake was glassy. The closer land on the right is York, the island we anchored by. In the distance is Bear Island. 90 degrees to the left of this view is open the Lake, so we were fully exposed to the north the night before.
  • A few ripples appeared. Our destination today was Rocky Island. Winds became 3 to 5 knots for the day.

  • We went around the north side of Bear Island.
  • We motored much of this route due to lack of wind.
