Kids made the fire.

  • Maddie helped me take a fix by sighting 3 landmarks and plotting the intersection of their bearings on the map. Just a fun exercise since we had the GPS.
  • A group of kayakers came by as we approached Rocky. Brought back memories from the many kayak trips here in the Apostles that Becca and I did over 10 years prior.
  • Working the jib sheet.
  • We anchored at Rocky.
  • Going ashore to explore the Rocky's beach!
  • A beautiful day.
  • The kids made a raft out of driftwood and paddled it up and down the shore.

  • A few more boats anchored nearby. Two were powerboaters, one of which ran some sort of obnoxious sounding thing for hours and hours on end. Must have been a generator?
