  • I picked a new spot based off a busy deer trail and set up a stand on opening morning. Was in the stand by 8:00 am.
  • Sent a good morning photo to Becca!
  • Sat for 1 hour and a doe and fawn came through. One shot at about 30 yards broadside on the doe. Tons of blood!
  • View of my stand from where the doe was when I shot. I named the stand Big Raven after seeing a large raven.
  • It ran about 75 yards and died here.
  • Dad brought the cart.
