We had a gorgeous campsite on an island on Ima Lake, and set the tarp up on our cliff overlooking the lake.

  • Becca navigated on day 1.
  • We did about 7 portages on the first day, entering on Snowbank and camping on Ima Lake. It rained off and on during the last hour of paddling and then more into the evening.

  • We exited on day 2 and found a motel. The next morning we toured the Kawishiwi falls area.

  • A very large and fat black bear, which has been kept in captivity all its life. This is its new home at the Ely Bear center.
