Writing in the journal. We saw an adult eagle attack a loon, a different eagle catch a fish and then drop it and then land in a tree overlooking our camp, and a fat muskrat waddled through camp. I was slightly concerned the eagle was eyeing up Maddie when it failed to get the fish, but it thought better of the idea.
