  • Looking out from the Devil's Cascade site. We arrived here around noon and spent several hours reading in the fall sun on the cliffs high above the surrounding terrain.
  • We ventured off trail briefly to explore the area where a fire tower once stood. There was a huge rock area, larger than several football fields in size broken up by sparse trees. We found a long wire as the only real evidence that the fire tower had once stood here.
